This is a video of rocker Brother Love performing a pair of cuts (End Of The World and Soccergirl) from his new album, Turn It Up. This was filmed live in Toronto in the summer of 2007.
We are back and we are live with Brother Love performing a couple of live cuts from the stage at Arlene’s Grocery in New York City.

Bianca Jade came all the way from Perth, Western Australia to play at CBGB Gallery on the Bowery in New York City. So we figured we show her a little New York hospitality and come by to shoot some video of her set. We’re glad that we did. Bianca is developing a nice bluesy folk sound that really creates a cool mood. Have a look for yourself.
Get ready for The New Heathens, bringing it American style with their own brand of roots/southern style rock n’ roll. We caught up with the guys recently over at The Lakeside Lounge in the East Village at the release party for their new CD, Heathens Like Me.
Get ready for some head crunching heavy metal from Urbansnake. We recently made our way up to Wild Spirits on the far Upper East Side to catch up with this five piece Bronx metal outfit. They did not disappoint, serving up smoking hot metal on a cool spring night.
What a great time we had at Arlene’s Grocery with Sophia Ramos and her amazing band rocking it out. Don’t take my word for it. See for yourself. Get a preview of some of the album tracks from Sophia’s album, Her Majesty, over on Alley Cuts. Our musical man Brother Love holds down hosting duties.

Samantha Murphy was one of the first artists that I made a connection with as a result of podcasting. Her enthusiasm for creativity was evident in the quality of the cuts on her album, Somewhere Between Starving and Stardom. I was lucky to be able to catch her recent solo acoustic performance at Rockwood Music Hall. Samantha filled the room with sound and emotion, much to the delight of the folks who were in attendance. Thanks to the old vid camera, you can be in attendance for a few songs from her set.

Man oh man. Jody Shelton and his band played one heck of a show at the Mercury Lounge recently. These guys are up and comers on the New York music scene and are sure to make a big splash on a larger stage very soon. And if you love modern rock influences like Counting Crows, U2, Radiohead and Coldplay then you will really love these guys. You’ll also love our very special guest hosts Brother Love and Vitoria. Have a look, listen and enjoy!

Man oh man! What a smokin set Jason Yudoff and The New Hotness played over at Crash Mansion at the end of December. They nearly set the place on fire. The band was celebrating the release of their new CD, Jason Yudoff and The New Hotness LIVE at The Cutting Room. Have a look at this very well oiled funk rock machine in action right here on Flow.

We’re on location with New Jersey based alternative rock band Fairmont. They braved the New York City transit strike to play a slammin set at Arlenes Grocery. The turnout was light but we were there to capture all of the hard rockin fun.
