I haven’t posted any new content in months so I thought it was time to post an official notice that Flow: Music Liberated! is on hiatus. As much as I love independent music and helping to spread the word there’s just no time for me to take care of business in a quality manner.
I’m keeping my options open by leaving the content up and maintaining the domain for the foreseeable future. So if you’re new here please feel free to check out some of the cool audio and video featuring serious independent artists across a variety of genres.
If you’re an artist or label I recommend that you check out the list of podcasts over at the Association of Music Podcasting. I’m sure that you can find a show or two over there that can help you reach the growing podcast audience.

It’s hard for me to believe that I started Flow a year ago in November of 2005. I’ve heard lots of bands, recorded many podcasts and visited many live music venues in New York City over the last year.
And since then many more people have picked up the torch by creating their own audio and video podcasts in the music genre. Right on!
There’s so much great indie music out there that it becomes really easy to forget the musicians who are making it happen. So thanks to all those who endured my standing at the edge of the stage with video camera in hand. Or those who had my voice wrecking the lead ins to their perfectly crafted songs on the audio podcasts. It was all great fun.
Here’s to another year of turning the entertainment industry upside down.
We’re rocking old school style here on Flow: Music…Liberated! with a pair of live performances from the past year of the On Location series.
First up, DealbreakeR rocks is out at Kenny’s Castaways on Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village. We shot their show from the upper balcony that also houses a Kiss themed bar. Then we follow it up with Sophia Ramos performing a hot track called Torn Down on the stage at Arlene’s Grocery on Stanton Street on the Lower East side.
We are back and we are live with Brother Love performing a couple of live cuts from the stage at Arlene’s Grocery in New York City.
